Hajia Bilkisu Oniyangi is a versatile personality who has crisscrossed the private and public sectors with meaningful impact. She is a proactive professional with vast experience driving business and operational excellence. Bilkisu is adequately skilled in developing and executing innovative strategies to increase market share, optimize customer engagement, and enhance customer satisfaction. She is adept at leading change management initiatives and establishing new processes to streamline operations and drive business growth.

Dr Bilkisu holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria; Master of Business Administration (MBA), from the University of Wales, Swansea, United Kingdom; and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration from the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Nasarawa State, Nigeria.

Bilkisu’s experience cuts across both the government and private sectors. She was with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), NAL Merchant Bank Limited, Access Bank Plc, Access Bank (UK) and Aso Savings and Loans Limited where she rose to the position of the Deputy General Manager before succumbing to the call to serve her people in the capacity of Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development in Kwara State up until 2019.

Dr Bilkisu was also a Member of the Technical Committee of the Northern Governors/Traditional Rulers Committee on Restructuring (2017). Bilkisu is the chairperson of Foundation for Women Awareness and Learning Initiative, Director of Ariel Insurance Brokers Limited, and Principal Revenue Consultant at CSDC Consulting Enterprise Solutions/CSDC Systems Solutions Limited. She currently superintends CSDC’s operations in Northern Nigeria as the Regional Director (North), and also a Director of Fiftyfifty Institute Limited.

Bilkisu is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Diplomacy and Management.
